Refund AND RETURNS Policy

This policy outlines our approach to refunds, returns, and cancellations in line with UK consumer law and healthcare regulations.

1. Deposits & Booking Fees

A deposit or booking fee may be required to secure appointments.

Deposits are non-refundable, as they reserve clinical time, staffing, and resources.

Deposits may be transferred to a future appointment if adequate notice is given (see cancellation policy below).

2. Cancellation Policy

a) Patient Cancellations

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice may have their deposit transferred to a future booking.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend (no-shows), will result in loss of deposit.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full payment upfront for future bookings.

b) Clinic Cancellations

In the rare event that RESET Medical Aesthetic Clinic needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be offered:

An alternative appointment date, or A full refund of any deposit paid

3. Refund Policy for Treatments

Due to the nature of medical aesthetic treatments:

  • No refunds are provided for treatments once they have been carried out.
    • Treatment outcomes may vary between individuals, and results cannot be guaranteed.
    • Dissatisfaction with results does not constitute grounds for a refund where treatment has been delivered appropriately and with informed consent.

Any concerns regarding outcomes will be managed through a clinical review and aftercare process, not refunds.

4. Courses of Treatment & Packages

Courses or treatment packages are non-refundable once started.

Unused sessions may be transferred only at the clinic’s discretion and within a specified timeframe.

Packages are non-transferable to other individuals.

5. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Where a treatment or course is purchased online or remotely, you may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided that:

  • The treatment has not started, and
  • No consultation or service has already been delivered

Once a consultation or treatment has taken place, the cooling-off period no longer applies.

6. Returns Policy (Products)

Prescription-only medicines (POMs) cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed, in accordance with UK law.

Non-prescription skincare products may be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they are:

  • Unopened
  • Unused
  • In original packaging

Returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase. Opened or used products cannot be refunded for hygiene and safety reasons.

7. Medical Suitability & Treatment Refusal

RESET Medical Aesthetic Clinic reserves the right to:

  • Decline or discontinue treatment if it is deemed clinically unsafe or inappropriate
  • Cancel a treatment following consultation if medical suitability is not met

In such cases, any payment made for the treatment itself will be refunded. Consultation fees may still apply.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds or deposit transfers outside of this policy may be considered at the clinic’s discretion in exceptional circumstances. Supporting documentation may be requested.
